This is a stoneware mug made in the nerikomi style with layers of pigmented clay. No two cups are ever alike. The inside, rim and handle are glazed. The outside is unglazed and has been sanded and sealed which gives a matte appearance.

Microwave and dishwasher safe, although its life will be extended with handwashing. Holds 12oz.
