This is a porcelain, nerikomi mug made with love, patience and many layers of colored clay. Each piece is made from one slice of a nerikomi block that will never be remade in the same way, so no two cups are ever alike. The inside, rim and handle are glazed clear. The outside body is bare and has been sanded, polished and sealed which gives a matte appearance.
This is a thin, porcelain item made by a human, so no piece is perfectly round or symmetrical.
Microwave safe. Hand washing is recommended. Holds approximately 12-14oz.
