This is a black porcelain mug made in the nerikomi style with layers of colored clay and covered in fully fired "black glitter." No two cups are ever alike. The inside, rim and handle are glazed clear. The outside is bare and has been sanded and sealed which gives a matte appearance.
This is a thin, porcelain item that was made by hand. No piece is perfectly round or symmetrical. See photos so you understand the shape and body prior to purchasing.
This piece is not microwave or dishwasher safe. Holds about 12-14oz.
