Spider Web Secret Message Mug (seconds)

This spider web nerikomi mug was made with black and white porcelain clay.  Each piece has a secret message hidden in the bottom of the mug so if a light source illuminates the underside of the piece, a message is revealed.

The message on this mug is "I'M WATCHING YOU” - The message on the bottom is not lined up with the handle, so it looks a little crooked if you are holding it up to the light.  Maybe just a personal preference and you might not mind that - it is an otherwise perfect mug.  Offering it as a discount because of this slight imperfection.

The inside, rim and handle are glazed clear.  The outside is bare and has been sanded and sealed which gives a soft, matte appearance. 

This is a thin, porcelain item that was made by hand. No piece is perfectly round or symmetrical. Microwave and dishwasher safe, although its life will be extended with handwashing. Holds approximately 12-14oz.
